Alnwick Castle Summer ceramic tile with easel is by North East artist Emily Ward. The ceramic tile has been created from an original painting by Emily and is hand pressed locally in her art studio.
Emily has painted the historic Alnwick Castle with a warm golden tone that is bathed in soft light. The sky above is a mixture of blue and purple hues which creates a dreamy effect on this art ceramic tile.
The castle reflects over the soft purple colours that ripple across the water. The long grasses and reeds have been given a burst of colour in the foreground.

Alnwick Castle Summer
Alnwick Castle
in Northumberland has over 900 years of history. Originally constructed in the 11th century to control and protect the borders from Scottish invasion following the Norman conquest. The castle boasted 2 metre thick walls, a 7 metre deep moat, two baileys and thick oak gates as part of its defense.
The Grade I listed building has been renovated and remodelled numerous times over the years and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Northumberland.
Ceramic Tile with Easel
Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
