Alnwick Castle stands proudly on the luscious greens of the gardens on Emily’s art coaster. The energetic colours of the trees incorporating blues, purples and yellows invite you towards the historic castle.
Soft purple shades from the colourful reeds cast a lovely hue over the castle outline that reflects across the waters surface.

Alnwick Castle
Alnwick Castle
in Northumberland has over 900 years of history. Originally constructed in the 11th century to control and protect the borders from Scottish invasion following the Norman conquest. The castle boasted 2 metre thick walls, a 7 metre deep moat, two baileys and thick oak gates as part of its defense.
The Grade I listed building has been renovated and remodelled numerous times over the years and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Northumberland.
