Alnwick Castle Summer ceramic pendant has been created from an original painting by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily has painted the historic Alnwick Castle with a warm golden tone that is bathed in soft light. The sky above is a mixture of blue and purple hues which create a dreamy effect on this art ceramic pendant.
The castle outlines reflect over the soft purple colours that ripple across the water's surface. The long grasses and reeds have been given a burst of colour in the foreground.
