Angel of the North ceramic tile with easel is from an original painting by local North East artist Emily Ward. Emily has transferred her striking painting onto a ceramic tile for all to enjoy.
Emily's picture shows The Angel of the North standing proud on a hilltop in Gateshead with a light scattering of snow falling all around. The blue sky with a soft hint of pink really lifts this painting. The wintery feel is added to with the darkened rugged grass in the forefront of the picture.
