Bamburgh Castle Summer limited edition print has been created from an original painting by Emily Ward, an artist from Newcastle. This delightful art print is also available framed.
Emily has captured the castle's strong medieval form on this art print. The landscape is rich with colour, featuring a lush green hill on which the castle sits, high above the golden sands of the Northumberland coastline.
A dreamy sky filled with soft pinks, blues and lilac tones fades off into the horizon. The coastline bursts with delicate blue, pink and purple blossoms that give the Impression of a meadow in full bloom on this beautiful art print.

Bamburgh Castle is located on the northeast coast of England and is a Grade I listed building. Bought by William George Armstrong in 1894, the castle now houses his unique, well-loved collection of artwork and ceramics.
The castle was home to a succession of kings from Henry VI to James I, and was the first castle in the world to fall to gunpowder in the Wars of the Roses. For over 1400 years, it has stood guard over the Northumberland coast, and today visitors enjoy both Bamburgh Castle and its views. The Farne Islands and Holy Islands can also be seen from the castle, recognised as England’s finest coastal fortress.
