Beverley Minster
The market town of Beverley
in the East riding of Yorkshire is home to Beverley Minster. The impressive minster is regarded as being one of the finest examples of Gothic churches in Europe.
Originally founded during the 8th century the present Minster was built in the period 1220-1425 after a fire destroyed the earlier one.
