Bow Fiddle Rock is a natural sea arch on the Moray coast near to the village of Portknockie.
The iconic arch has been formed over millions of years of erosion from the sheer force of the waves and wind. The thickness of the rock is about 2,400m and is 50 ft high and is made from quartzite.
This natural outstanding rock has been sculpted over thousands of years and now resembles a bow poised over a fiddle. The rock formation appears to be in two separate parts which the sea ebbs in and out of.
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
