Canterbury Cathedral limited edition print has been produced from original artwork by Emily Ward, an artist from Newcastle. This delightful art print is also available framed.
A beautiful day breaks over the cathedral lighting up the sky with a burst of colour on Emily Ward's art print. Striking oranges with a hint of red fill the sky casting a golden glow that shimmers over the Gothic architecture.
Splashes of Emily's characteristic paint create the impression that the tree is full of the same dainty flowers that grow merrily in front of the magnificent Canterbury Cathedral.

Canterbury Cathedral in Kent was founded in 597AD and has a wealth of history and is the seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Canterbury Cathedral is renowned for having some of the finest Medieval stained glass in the country. It is an impressive example of Gothic style architecture with buildings dating mainly from the 11th-16th century.
The Cathedral is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which includes the ruins of St Augustine’s Abbey, where the early Anglo-Saxon kings of Kent were buried, and St Martin’s, the longest church in continuous use in England
In 1170 Archbishop Thomas Becket was murdered in the Cathedral and since then the Cathedral has attracted thousands of pilgrims, as told most famously in Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.
