Carew Castle postcard is by North East artist Emily Ward from original artwork.
Emily’s art postcard captures the historic grandeur of Carew Castle and the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
The sky is a lovely mix of golden tones on the horizon with a soft pink and a purple hue at the top. The colour casts a magical glow over the stunning castle ruins.
Pretty little wildflowers in the foreground add a further pop of colour to this lovely art postcard.

The beautiful ruin of Carew Castle overlooks a large millpond in Pembrokeshire in West Wales. With a history spanning 2000 years. It was originally built by Gerald de Windsor as a family home.
The Norman fortress has been altered and added to, over the years, this has created a beautiful and stunning castle that overlooks the Carew River. The front of the castle has three D- shaped towers and at the back there are two round towers.
There are stories of ghosts haunting Carew Castle, from a Celtic warrior, a kitchen boy and an ape. The castle has been the venue for many paranormal investigations.
