Carew Castle Pendant has been created from original art by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration is hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily's ceramic pendant of Carew Castle has been set against a colourful and magical sky. The pinks, yellows and purple tones of the evening reflect over the warming tones of the castle ruins.
The rich greens of the grass are speckled with colour which reflects over the stillness of the millpond. Bright bursts of colour from the dainty flowers in the foreground add a dreamy feel to this art.

Carew Castle’s rich history spans over 2,000 years and includes stories of knights of the realm, Elizabethan intrigue, kingmakers, Civil War and ghosts.
The architecturally diverse Carew Castle stands on a limestone bluff overlooking a 23 acre millpond in Pembrokeshire.
The Carew family take their name from the castle and have owned the castle for over 900 years. The castle is now leased to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park who have completed a lot of restoration work.
Each hanging decoration is made from original artwork by North East Artist Emily Ward.
