Cheddar Gorge Bone China Cup is by Emily Ward an artist from the North East. This lovely art cup has been created from original art by Emily and is printed and hand pressed in her art studio near Newcastle.
The richness of the orange tones of the bright evening sun cast a relaxing glow over the impressive landscape of Cheddar Gorge on Emily's art bone china cup.
The steep cliff face has a lovely mix of pink and lilac tones which shimmer throughout the gorge. The weathered crag side glows with streaks of sunshine and is speckled with splashes of colour.

Cheddar Gorge is in Somerset and lies on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills, 40 miles from both Bath and Bristol.
At almost 400 feet deep and three miles long, it is England’s largest gorge and attracts 500,000 visitors a year. The weathered crags and pinnacles, make for an awe inspiring natural landscape.
The gorge began forming about one million years ago during the last Ice Age when water from melting glaciers formed a river. Over time the river started to carve into the limestone rock which created the steep cliffs seen today. The Cheddar Yeo River gradually made its way underground, which created the famous Cheddar Caves.
