Clifford's Tower Bone China Cup has been created from original artwork by local North East artist Emily Ward. All of Emily's bone china cups are hand pressed in her art studio in North Tyneside.
The medieval stonework glimmers with a yellow and orange hue under the bright morning sky. The steep steps are lined with bright and cheerful springtime flowers on either side.
This art cup would make a lovely gift.

Clifford's Tower has looked over the city of York from 1245 until the present day. It was originally built on the orders of William 1 to dominate the Viking city of Jorvik which is now known as York.
York's iconic historical monument is steeped in a thousand years of history. The raised mound that it stands on was once the site of a timber keep that had been built by William the Conqueror. This was burnt down in 1190.
Clifford’s Tower was once part of York Castle, the tower played a role in turbulent national events such as the Dissolution of the Monasteries and the English Civil War.
