, or known as a littoral path is usually a trail along the sea shore. Used by pedestrians and sometimes cyclists and equestrians.
A few coastal paths were originally created to lookout for smugglers by customs and coastguards. Most coastal paths are now developed for tourists, walkers and all, so everyone can enjoy the stunning views they bring.
