Irish Cottages
Irish cottages
were based on a simple plan, a rectangle building with a thatched roof.
The walls were built with stones found locally, pieced together in interlocking fashion, then covered with a mud plaster before being white washed. There was no shortage of the stones used in the west of Ireland.

Each Canvas Print is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your canvas is actually a print no two prints are identical. Emily hand finishes the canvas prints by adding extra paint to the print.

The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame. The wooden frame is approximately 2cm deep so will fit snugly against any wall.
Canvases are available in various sizes. Each size can be chosen above on the website.
