A dazzling bright and warming sun wakes up behind the impressive Gothic spire of Coventry Cathedral on Emily Ward's art canvas print. The sunlight shines brightly over the stained glass windows of this historic cathedral.
Red poppies grow wildly in the forefront amongst the long blades of grass which have been given a lovely hint of blue and yellow.

The rich history of Coventry and its three Cathedral’s, in the Heart of England spans nearly 1000 years.
The first cathedral of which there are a few ruins remaining, was called St Mary’s and was built in the 12th century. The next was a 14th century Gothic church named St Michael’s, it was given cathedral status in 1918. This was bombed in the Coventry blitz during the Second World War, the tower, spire and outer wall survived.
Todays Coventry Cathedral also called St Michael’s was built in 1962, and stands proud next to the ruins. The ruins were preserved as a constant reminder of the destruction of war.
Each Canvas Print is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your canvas is actually a print no two prints are identical. Emily hand finishes the canvas prints by adding extra paint to the print.
