Cullercoats the Wave ceramic tile with easel was an original painting by local North East artist Emily Ward . Emily's painting of Cullercoats harbour captures the dramatic night sky over the dark cold North Sea.
The orange sunset in the distance is visible through the dark grey and purple skies which give the impression a storm is on the way. Waves are sweeping over the pier where you can see the reflecting colours of the night sky on the water.
Emily Ward Art has transferred this dramatic original painting onto a ceramic tile. It is set on Cullercoats Beach in North Tyneside in the North East of England.
