Cullercoats the Wave print was an original painting by local North East artist Emily Ward . Emily's painting of Cullercoats harbour captures the dramatic night sky over the dark cold North Sea.
The orange sunset in the distance is visible through the dark grey and purple skies which give the impression a storm is on the way. Waves are sweeping over the pier where you can see the reflecting colours of the night sky on the water.
It is set on Cullercoats Beach
in North Tyneside in the North East of England.

Cullercoats bay is a crescent shaped beach enclosed by two piers. Cliffs and some small caves all add to the lovely character of Cullercoats harbour.
