Deep Dark Woods is a new original painting by Emily Ward a local North East artist.

The snowy path leads you through the tree lined tunnel deep into the woods towards the winter sun.

Dark browns are used to highlight the trees and their individual branches. Subtle hints of pink shimmer on some of the branches.

Fresh untouched snow lines the floor and can be seen clinging to the arched branches.

There is an air of mystery to this original painting.
