Durham Cathedral with Flowers Pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily's pretty field of bright and cheerful flowers entices you towards the Gothic architecture of the imposing Durham Cathedral.
The central tower stands proud under the swirling clouds. Gentle shimmers of pink can be seen reflecting off the Romanesque building.

Durham Cathedral is a Church of England cathedral, formally known as Cathedral Church of Christ, Blessed Mary the Virgin and St Cuthbert of Durham.
The Gothic Cathedral lies within the precinct of Durham Castle in County Durham in the North East. It was first constructed in the late eleventh century under the orders of William the Conqueror.
It is the largest and finest example of Norman architecture in England.
Durham Cathedral featured in the first two Harry Potter films, Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Each hanging decoration is made from original artwork by North East Artist Emily Ward.
