Elvet Bridge bone china cup has been designed from an original painting by local North East artist Emily Ward.
Emily has cast the reflection of the arches of this medieval bridge across the River Wear. Durham cathedral is standing proud in the background hidden amongst the luscious green foliage on the riverside.
Pink haze in the sky and the speckles of white and yellow throughout the painting enhance the varying beiges of stonework.
