Transporter Bridge canvas painting was created by local North East artist Emily Ward. Emily has added her personal trademark flowers to the forefront of this impressive bridge.
Rich ruby red love hearts jump out amongst the speckling of bright cheery flowers set amongst the powerful blue of the Tees Transporter bridge. Fluffy clouds add texture to this bridge which has had a few TV roles, including Auf Wiedersehen Pet and Billy Eillot.

The Transporter Bridge
is an iconic landmark on the River Tees since its opening in 1911. This beautifully maintained bridge is one of only two still operating in the UK. Middlesbrough’s famous bridge was painted red when it first opened and was changed to blue in 1961. Emily captures these colours just right.

The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame. The wooden frame is approximately 2cm deep so will fit snugly against any wall.
