North East Art Farne Island Ceramic tile with easel has been beautifully painted by Emily Ward, a local North East artist.
Emily has used a vibrant purple to highlight the sky capturing the mystery of this famous sea bird sanctuary. The ruggedness of the islands jutting out can be seen through Emily’s splashes of sea spray splashing over the rich blues of the North Sea.
About the Farne Islands
The islands lie just off the Northumberland coast between Seahouses and Bamburgh. Sir David Attenburgh declared The Farne Islands his favourite place in the UK to see nature.
Watch seals laze on the rocks, see the 23 different varieties of birds, including colourful puffins and hopefully catch a glimpse of some dolphins skimming the surrounding waters.
Farne Islands Ceramic tile can be found in Emily’s vast collection of North East Art which can be found HERE
