Five Arches, Tenby ceramic tile and easel is by Emily Ward, an artist from the North East. This art gift is printed and hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
A bright orange morning sunrise adds a warming glow over Tenby's famous five arches. Sunlight glistens over the stonework which is speckled with a splash of colour.
Dainty pink, white and yellow flowers add a softness to the medieval gateway to Tenby.

The Five Arches
are a Grade I-listed medieval defensive structures around the town of Tenby. They are regarded to be one of the most important surviving medieval city walls in Britain. The walls were built in the 13th century by the Earls of Pembroke and improved in the 1450s.
The wall's most impressive feature is an outer Barbican tower which controlled the access to the West Gate. The outer tower is pierced by five rounded archways, which gives it the name 'Five Arches'.
