Forth Railway Bridge
The iconic Forth Bridge
was opened in 1890 and was the world's first major steel structure. To this day it still holds the record for being the world's longest cantilever bridge.
The Forth Rail bridge crosses the Firth of Forth, just 9 miles outside of Edinburgh.
