Giant's Causeway ceramic tile and easel is by Emily Ward, an artist from the North East. This art gift has been produced from an original painting by Emily and is hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily's calming soft blue sea gentle laps against the legendary rocks whilst the sea mist gently cascades over them.
The dramatic headland of the cliffs that tower over the Atlantic Ocean are speckled with vibrant green splashes.

Giant's Causeway
in County Antrim is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most of the site is in the ownership and management of the National Trust.
View the the coastal scenery from the cliff tops where you can look down on thousands of basalt columns which tumble down into the Atlantic Ocean. It’s an epic sight, with an impressive 40,000 or so of the hexagonal-shaped stepping stones.
Geological studies of these formations over the last 300 years have greatly contributed to the development of the earth sciences, and show that this striking landscape was caused by volcanic activity during the Tertiary, some 50–60 million years ago.

Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
