Giant's Causeway framed ceramic tile has been created from an original painting by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
The pink haze through the Atlantic Ocean glimmers as it gently rolls towards the ancient hexagonal basalt stones in Emily's painting. The evening sky is rippled with oranges and pinks as the sun disapears behind the cliff tops.

Giant's Causeway
Giant's Causeway lies at the foot of the basalt cliffs along the sea coast in County Antrim on the northern coast of Northern Ireland. The Unesco site
is about three miles northeast of the town of Bushmill.
Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, which resulted from an ancient volcanic fissure eruption.
The dramatic sight has inspired legends of giants striding over the sea to Scotland. Celebrated in the arts and in science, it has been a visitor attraction for at least 300 years and has come to be regarded as a symbol for Northern Ireland.
Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
