Giant's Causeway Pendant has been created from an original painting by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily has given the imposing ancient rocks a burst of colour. Vibrant tones of pinks, oranges and purple add a blanket of colour to the famous stepping stones of mythical giants.
The Atlantic Ocean looks ever so tranquil as a haze of soft shades of pink reflect over the surface. Colourful rain drops fall over the dramatic cliffs on Emily Ward's art pendant.

The UNESCO site of Giant's Causeway on the County Antrim coast is renowned to be one of most remarkable natural sites in Europe. You can enjoy a walk around Causeway, where you can hop over the stones, explore the surrounding hills, or just sit and contemplate the puzzling geology of the impressive basalt stones.
They were formed 50 to 60 million years ago, during the Paleogene Period. Giant’s Causeway resulted from flows of lava which inched towards the coast and then cooled when it contacted the sea. Layers of basalt formed columns, and the pressure between these columns sculpted them into polygonal shapes that vary from 15 to 20 inches in diameter and measure up to 82 feet in height.
Each hanging decoration is made from original artwork by North East Artist Emily Ward.
All pendants are hand pressed at Emily's art studio.
