The Hadrian's Wall Pendant has been created from an original painting by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
The ancient stone remains of Hadrian's Wall snake across the rich grassy rolling hills of Northumberland on Emily Ward's hanging pendant. The craggy cliff side can be seen disappearing into to the small peaceful lake.
Vibrant pretty little yellow and red flowers wildly grow in front of the remains of a watchtower adding a splash of colour to this calming ceramic pendant.

Hadrian’s Wall in the North of England runs through the three counties of Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria. It runs from Segedunum in Wallsend to Bowness on Solway and is 73 miles long.
The ancient stone wall was built under the command of Emperor Hadrian. He traveled extensively throughout Europe looking to make improvements to its defenses and to consolidate the borders. Hadrian ordered the wall to be built in AD 122 and it took around 15,000 men six years to complete.
There is only about 10% of the original wall remaining today.
