Harrogate Royal Baths
Harrogate in North Yorkshire is a popular spa town and was known as 'The English Spa' in Georgian times. High society and royalty also flocked to Harrogate in Victorian times.
The spa waters contain sulphur, iron and salt were discovered by William Slingsby four centuries ago. The rich variety of water made Harrogate unique as a spa town.
