Humber Bridge Painting
Local North East artist Emily Ward has created this beautiful Humber Bridge Painting with her bright vibrant style. Set back on a purple canvas, this bridge painting has a warming feel to it.
Her unique style is captured perfectly in this painting of Hull with the use of colour and texture. Small but delicate flowers surround the Humber Bridge adding a different perspective to this Yorkshire painting.
Emily has chosen to incorporate the Humber Bridge into one of her famous daisy paintings with her wonderful use of colour.
This Humber Bridge purple painting would make a lovely addition to any home.
About Humber Bridge
Crossing the Humber Estuary between Hessle and Barton upon Humber, this bridge is the UK’s longest single span suspension bridge. The development of a bridge or tunnel here was campaigned for over a hundred years until it’s construction in 1972.
This key piece of infrastructure marks a very important time for trade, travel and development between the two banks. The Humber Bridge has saved valuable hours and vehicle miles over time, not to mention the environmental reduction of carbon emissions.
