Inner Farne Island Lighthouse coaster has been created by local North East artist Emily Ward. Emily's original painting has been hand pressed onto a FSC rated hardback coaster.
Lovely purple tones fill the sky cast a warming tone over the lighthouse on the southern tip of Inner Farne. The cliff face glistens with blues, greens and purples as the sea spray from the choppy North sea crashes against it.
Farne Island Lighthouse
Extending nearly five miles out into the North Sea, these waters have always been hazardous to shipping. Inner Farne is the largest of the Farne Islands at 16 acres.
Lighthouses have always played an important part in the Farne Islands
history. Built in the early 19th century it still operate as a working lighthouse.
