Inner Farne Island Lighthouse original painting is a new commission by North East artist Emily Ward. Emily has painted this lighthouse standing guard over the waters of the Farne islands just off the Northumberland coast.
The pretty purples and blues of the evening sky cast a warming glow over this working lighthouse. Sea spray from the choppy North Sea crashes over the cliff face shimmering with colour reflecting from the waters.

The Farne Islands
are a group of islands off the coast of Northumberland. The Farne Islands have been home to numerous lighthouses over the years. Built in the early 19th century, this lighthouse stands on the southern tip of Inner Frane and still functions.
