Emily’s art of Jacob’s Ladder is rich in pinks and purples giving the scene a warm atmospheric feel. The iconic white wooden steps leading up to the 16th century Clock Tower look striking against the rich deep reds of the dramatic cliffs.

The soft pastel haze from the evening sunset reflects over a sea that shimmers with lilac tones. Colourful dainty flowers and splashes of paint add an extra pop of colour to this art blank greeting card.

Jacob's Ladder, Sidmouth

Jacob’s Ladder Beach in Sidmouth is home to the landmark steep white steps that give the stunning beach its name. There are about 100 steps over the three platforms on the wooden structure that lead up from the beach to Cannaught Gardens.

The steps get their name from the biblical Jacob’s ladder to heaven and were named in the Victorian era. From the top, the structure provides dramatic views of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for the rugged cliffs and geological history.
