Jacob's Ladder, Sidmouth, Open Edition Print

Jacob's Ladder, Sidmouth, open edition print has been created by Emily Ward an artist from the North East. This lovely art print is also available framed.

The historic wooden Jacob’s Ladder looks striking in white against the deep red and purples of the cliffs on Emily’s art print.

Pretty wildflowers in yellow, blue and red peep through the grassy cliffs adding vibrancy to this art. The background features a serene seascape with a soft pastel-hued sky.

Jacob's Ladder, Sidmouth

Jacob’s Ladder in the popular seaside town of Sidmouth is an iconic landmark on the East Devon Heritage Coast. Jacob’s Ladder is a historic wooden staircase that links the lovely part walled Connaught Gardens to the picturesque beach.

The first wooden steps were built in 1871 after cliff erosion had destroyed the original path down to the beach.

The steps were granted a Grade II Listed Building status in 1951.
