Jesmond Dene 2 framed ceramic tile is from an original painting by North East artist Emily Ward.
Emily's painting of the waterfall in Jesmond Dene has a lovely tranquil feel to it. The River Ouesburn flows under the stone bridge surrounded by flowers.
Emily's hand finishes each ceramic tile with her trademark splashes of colour adding warmth to this art gift.
This framed tile would be a perfect gift for someone who loves local art, or someone who loves walking through the Ouseburn valley.
The Jesmond Dene gift range can be found HERE.
Jesmond Dene
Jesmond Dene is a public park which occupies the valley of the Ouseburn River. It can be translated as mouth of the Ouseburn.
Lord Armstrong and his wife first created the park during the 1860s. They used to live in the now demolished Jesmond Dene house.
It is a haven of peace and tranquillity, full of wildlife and plants. Notably home to Kingfishers, red squirrels and many woodland birds.
Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
Each frame is 27 x 27 x 5cm
Colours may vary as each tile is printed individually.
