Longleat House Ceramic Tile with Easel

Longleat House ceramic tile and easel is by Emily Ward, an artist from the North East. This art gift is produced locally in her studio near Newcastle.

Emily's art ceramic tile of the grand Longleat House is set to a moody blue sky. The golden-hued stone facade stands prominently at the end of the central pathway which is dotted with colourful paint splashes.

The foreground is filled with a rich and colourful meadow of wildflowers in pink, yellow, purple and green. Two symmetrical fountains have also been given a little burst of colour on Emily Ward’s art.

Longleat House

Longleat House is a stately home in Wiltshire and was built in the 16th century by John Thynne.

In 1949 it was the first privately owned stately home to open to the public. The house showcases ornate ceilings, Elizabethan architecture, tapestries, seven libraries and many more treasures.

The estate now includes Longleat Safari park, a Centre Parcs holiday village, 900 acres of Capability Brown Landscaped parkland and is one of the top tourist attractions in Britain.
