Lowlights keyring has been created from an original painting by local North East artist, Emily Ward.
Emily’s keyring is of the stark white Low Lights standing proud watching out over North Shields Fish Quay.
Red and blue fishing trawlers are moored in the harbour of this local fishing port

The High and Low Lights of North Shields
, were the first set of lights to be built in the 16th century to help navigate the River Tyne and avoid the dangerous Black Middens. The newer lights replaced the original lights around 1810 and were decommissioned in 1999.
