Moonlight over the Mountains is an original painting by Emily Ward a local North East artist.
Emily has used mainly purples with a hue of blues to capture the beauty of the flowers and plants scattered across the painting.
Painted in the background, against a deep purple sky, you can see the mountains in the far distance. Reflecting in the lake in front of them, the mountains are illuminated by the moonlight. Emily’s unique paint splatters also add a sense of character to the painting.
