Octagon Tower, Studley Royal Water Garden framed ceramic tile is by North East artist Emily Ward from her Fountains Abbey art print and gift range. The ceramic tile is printed and hand pressed in Emily Ward's art studio near Newcastle.
Emily has given this garden folly a pop of colour. Speckles of pinks and yellows give the impression of dainty little flowers growing amongst the luscious green shrubbery.
The gentle shading on this Gothic 8 sided building gives a warming glow to the tower.
This art ceramic tile in a box frame would make a lovely gift.

Studley Royal Water Garden
along with Fountains Abbey, near Ripon in Yorkshire, is a designated World Heritage Site. The 800 acre site features include the largest Cistercian abbey ruins in Europe, 18th century landscaped gardens, and a Jacobean mansion. The estate is managed by The National Trust.
The Gothic style Octagon Tower is on the western edge of Constitution Hill. on the north side at Studley Royal Water Gardens.
The Tower was created as an eyecatcher to highlight the view over the garden. John Aislabie began the creation of this Georgian water garden in 1716, and his son William continued the work in the later eighteenth century.
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
Each frame is 27 x 27 x 5cm
Colours may vary as each tile is printed individually.
