Pembroke Castle coaster by Emily Ward, is hand pressed onto a FSC rated hardbacked coaster locally in her studio in North Tyneside. The coaster has been produced from original art by Emily from her Welsh collection.
This coaster can also be purchased in a set of four in a gift box.
Emily’s art depicts a stunning scene of the historic Pembroke Castle, surrounded by lush greenery. The castle reflects gently over the millpond.
Vibrant splashes of colour flicker amongst the wildflowers growing at the banks of the castle.
The huge circular keep stands proud under the soft purples and blues of the swirling clouds on this lovely art coaster.

The first Pembroke Castle was built in 1093 by Earl Roger of Montgomery. It was a timber structure to hold back counter attacks against the Welsh from the Normans after the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
The castle was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century; a lot of the structure remains today.
Henry VII, founder of the Tudor Dynasty, was born at Pembroke castle in 1957. He was father to the infamous Henry VIII and grandfather to Queen Elizabeth I.
Pembroke Castle is the largest privately owned castle in Wales and is open to the public.
