Perth Bridge, River Tay Keyring
Perth Bridge, River Tay
Perth Bridge on the River Tay keyring has been created from original art by Emily Ward a local North East artist. This art keyring has been hand pressed locally.
As the River Tay flows towards the ancient arched bridge it is awash with pinks, lilacs and blues. The gentle tones of colour can be seen blending in to a cloud filled sky.
The impressive steeple of St Mathew's church stands proud in the forefront of this art print.

Perth Bridge, River Tay
Perth Bridge is an old arched bridge that crosses the River Tay in the city of Perth. The bridge is known by many local names, from the Old Bridge, the Auld Brig and Smeaton's.
Perth Bridge was designed by the engineer John Smeaton, who was also responsible for the Eddystone Lighthouse and the Forth and Clyde Canal. The bridge was built in 1766.
The River Tay runs quite fast as it goes through Perth and it's also quite wide so crossings are needed to get from one side of the city to the other.
