Puffin Dancing with the Daisies framed ceramic tile by local North East artist Emily Ward has captured the fun of this beautiful bird. The vibrant blues tones of the sky really set off the striking colours of this popular bird.
Emily's puffin is full of happiness as he dances freely amongst the pretty little daisies.

The Farne Islands on the Northumberland coast, approximately three miles southwest of the fishing village of Seahouses, are home to the largest puffin colony in England.
During the puffins' breeding season they nest underground in a burrow and raise a single chick called a puffling. Pufflings look nothing like the adult birds, and are little charcoal coloured balls of fluff.

Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
Each frame is 27 x 27 x 5cm
Colours may vary as each tile is printed individually.
