Raby Castle is a medieval castle in County Durham, and is situated near to Staindrop. It is nestled in the 200 acres of The Raby Park, which includes a walled garden an deer park.
John Neville the 3rd Baron of Raby built the castle between 1367 and 1390. Raby Castle is a stunning example of 14th century architecture with its foreboding towers and crenelated walls.
Raby Castle is owned by the 12th Lord and Lady Barnard and the Vane family.
