Richmond Castle Ceramic Tile with Easel
Richmond Castle ceramic tile with easel is by North East artist Emily Ward. The ceramic tile has been created from original artwork by Emily and is hand pressed locally in her art studio.
The castle is painted in warm, reddish tones, contrasting with the bright, radiant background that suggests a setting or rising sun.
The foreground features a meadow filled with colorful wildflowers, including pink, white, and yellow blooms, giving this ceramic art tile a lively and cheerful atmosphere.

Richmond Castle in North Yorkshire, stands proudly overlooking the River Swale. It is near the town centre of Richmond and offers stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales.
Originally called Riche Mount, it means the strong hill. It was constructed following the Norman Conquest of England and the Domesday Book of 1086 refers to a Castlery at Richmond.
The castle was constructed by Alan Rufus in 1071 and is the best preserved early Norman Castle in England.
Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
