Richmond Castle Hanging Pendant Decoration
Richmond Castle ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily can handwrite your message on the reverse of the pendant, just add your message to the order.
The rich and warming tones of the vibrant sunrise light up Richmond Castle on Emily’s art cetamic hanging pendant.
The Grade I listed castle shimmers with sunlight in front of a meadow filled with colourful wildflowers that give a cheerful atmosphere to this art.

Richmond Castle
Richmond Castle
is perched high above the River Swale in North Yorkshire and has a history spanning nearly 1000 years. It is one of the last and best preserved Norman fortresses in the UK and is a popular tourist attraction.
The castle was used as a prison for conscientious objectors during World War 1. Prisoners recorded both their political and personal beliefs in the form of graffiti. During World War 2 more graffiti was added when the cells were used as a punishment block for soldiers. The graffiti is still visible in the castle cells.
