Ripon Cathedral greeting card is from North East artist Emily Ward's beautiful range of art cards of Yorkshire landmarks. This greeting card has been created from original artwork by Emily. All greeting cards are printed locally in Newcastle.
The imposing East Window glows with the warming golden tones of the ancient stonework. Delicate tones of pinks and lilac swirling through the sky provide a calming backdrop to Ripon Cathedral.
Splashes of Emily's characteristic colourful paint speckle the dainty flowers in the forefront of this lovely art print.

Ripon Cathedral , also known as The Cathedral church of St Peter and St Wilfred, dominates the skyline of Ripon in North Yorkshire. This vibrant, church has an unbroken rich history reaching back to the 7th century.
It was founded as a monastery in the 660s and the present church is the fourth on the site and was built between the 13th and 16th centuries.
The Cathedral has many interesting features, including the medieval wood carvings that decorate the choir stalls. These are believed to have inspired Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice in Wonderland.
