Rising Sun
During a sunrise
and sunset the sky changes colour. This is because the sun is low on the horizon and more sunlight passes through the air. This means that the atmosphere scatters the violet and blue light away from your eyes. The typical sunset colours of orange, red and yellows continue to be seen by your eyes.
