St Mary's Church, Studley Royal Deer Park Ceramic Tile with Easel
St Mary's Church, Studley Royal Deer Park ceramic tile with easel is by North East artist Emily Ward. The ceramic tile has been created from original artwork by Emily and is hand pressed locally in her art studio.
Emily’s ceramic tile of the historic St Mary’s Church is depicted with a warm golden hue reflecting over it. The sky is a blend of purple and lilac shading, which is dotted with Emily’s colourful paint splatters.
In the foreground, a lush field of flowers in shades of yellow and deep magenta creates a striking contrast to the stone structure.
