St Mary's Church framed ceramic tile has been designed from original art by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
Emily’s art tile of the historic St Mary’s Church is depicted with a warm golden hue reflecting over it. The sky is a blend of purple and lilac shading, which is dotted with Emily’s colourful paint splatters.
In the foreground, a lush field of flowers in shades of yellow and deep magenta creates a striking contrast to the stone structure.
