St Mary's Lighthouse Blue bone china cup has been created from an original painting by Emily Ward, a local North East artist.
Rich blue, purple and lilac flowers in the foreground bring a relaxing and calming feel to this painting. The skyline is lit up with streaks of pinks and reds casting a warming glow over this coastal landmark.

St Mary’s Island dates back to medieval times and is located just off Curry’s Point at the north end of Whitley Bay beach in North Tyneside. The lighthouse decommissioned in 1984 is now a popular visitor centre run by North Tyneside Council. Climb the 137 steps for spectacular views of the North East coastline.
The nature reserve surrounding the lighthouse is a great place to explore the many rockpools and freshwater ponds. You can watch the seals and marine life and enjoy a walk along the cliff top grasslands.
